BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood mortified as co-host spots she 'almost forgot' his name

Carol was on our screens again this morning while Ben Thompson and Sally Nugent were in the studio.But, as her weather forecast came to an end, the 58-year-old seemed to almost forget her colleague’s name.“I’ll have a longer forecast in half an hour with more details but back now to… Sally and Ben,” she said.Her awkward pause was quickly picked up by the two in the studio, who clearly hadn’t forgotten Carol’s blunder last week when she called Ben “Dan”, after regular presenter Dan Walker.“You nearly said Dan,” Ben said as Sally chimed in with: “Well done.”A mortified Carol was seen.
