BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty wasn't on air for her usual Thursday slot with co-star Charlie Stayt. The morning host usually appears on the show on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday alongside Charlie Stayt, while Dan Walke rand Sally Nugent usually takes the Monday to Wednesday slot.
However, Naga wasn't on air on May 5 and instead Victoria Derbyshire stepped in to present the news. Viewers were confused as Naga didn't come on air, with one person taking to Twitter to question where the usual host is, but it seems the star was out at a theatre show the day prior.
With Naga having a night out with pals for the production, it's likely the star could have wanted a day off, prompting Victoria to stand in alongside Charlie instead. On the show on BBC Breakfast this morning Victoria and Charlie have instead joined up to talk about a number of things, including Shell, Ukraine, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, Real Madrid and paramedics.
Victoria shared the upcoming topics on the show ahead of her stint with Charlie as they confirmed the important topics up for discussion.
