BBC Breakfast presenter has claimed that her screams of pain could be heard from the doctor's waiting room as she had a birth control device implemented, reports the Liverpool Echo.Naga Munchetty has opened up about her "traumatic" experience of having a coil fitted and has said that we all need to pay closer attention to "how we look at all women's health and pain".46-year-old Naga said that she fainted twice after experiencing "excruciating" pain while having the contraceptive device fitted and that she was not offered any anaesthetic to ease the situation.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Naga stated that she does have a high pain threshold, but that the procedure was "one of the most traumatic physical experiences I have had".
