BBC Breakfast viewers have slammed Dan Walker's interviewing technique after he had a conversation with conservative MP Brandon Lewis which some thought was "too nice".The Breakfast presenter tackled the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland on Tuesday morning's show and asked him about Boris Johnson's fine over partygate.Dan, 45, also questioned Brandon, 50, about Britain's ties with Rwanda and whether it was a good idea to send refugees to the African country.With viewers at home eager to know what Brandon had to say, the MP came across fairly unmoved and seemed to compare Boris' fines to parking tickets.But this certainly didn't sit well with spectators with some criticising Dan for not coming down on the MP hard enough.Taking to Twitter in their droves, fans shared their thoughts.One person wrote: "That was the worst political interview I’ve seen for a long time.
Dan Walker didn’t interview Brandon Lewis he stroked his ego. If this is the best he can do then it really is time he went."Another penned: "Dan Walker, have a chat with Jeremy Paxman or Andrew Neil.
