Bayern Munich have signed 13-year-old Mike Wisdom from Borussia Monchengladbach for £250,000 and he will be part of their U15s next season.Described as an exceptional talent, Wisdom possesses great individual skills with electric pace and is two-footed.
Bayern are said to have beaten Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen among others to his signature with the Black and Yellows reportedly having a "very big offer" rejected.Gladbach had apparently tried to keep hold of Wisdom but had no chance when the other clubs came knocking.
According to Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sport Germany, the Bundesliga champions have been scouting the teenager for around six months.Although the overall transfer will cost Bayern a cool £250,000, it is understood the majority of the fee will form part of a hefty signing on bonus.
Wisdom's parents will also receive a fee for relocation, while Sky Sport Germany report that the star will earn a junior salary.Players in the U15s set up and below at Bayern Munich can earn a maximum of £333, but that goes up once they reach the U16s.
