Bayern Munich are continuing to stand firm on their stance that Robert Lewandowski will remain at the club, despite Barcelona’s best efforts. The Poland international has been vocal in how he would like to leave the Bundesliga side this summer, and with his contract expiring in 2023, many did not expect Bayern to stand in his way.
However, the German giants would rather he leaves next year.Barcelona are continuing to push for a move, and Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the La Liga side have tabled another bid for the striker.
Xavi’s side have reportedly submitted an offer of £30milllion (€35m) plus add-ons for the 33-year-old, but sources at Bayern still suspect it’s ‘not enough’.Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be interested in Lewandowski, but the former Borussia Dortmund star has his heart set on a move to Barca.
