Former Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger believes the impending arrival of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager at Old Trafford will help the Reds plug the gap on Chelsea.
The German made the admission following United's 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, which saw Italian midfielder Jorginho earn Chelsea a point after Jadon Sancho had given the Reds the lead with his first Premier League goal.
Although United's performance was far from vintage and, for the most part, not very pleasing on-the-eye, it did bring an end to their two-game losing run in the league and stop the rot of losing to the Premier League's much-fancied title contenders.
