The Argentine, who turns 33 this week, was out of contract at City this summer after ten seasons at the club, with the Blues deciding against renewing his deal.
Aguero leaves City as their all-time record goalscorer, with 260 goals from 390 appearances, picking up 15 trophies in the process.
Now he will join up with friend Lionel Messi at the Nou Camp, as Barcelona announced his signing by referencing his most iconic moment at City.
