Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926) is Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in London, the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and she was educated privately at home. Her father ascended the throne on the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She began to undertake public duties during the Second World War, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, with whom she has four children: Charles, Prince of Wales; Anne, Princess Royal; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

Rangers fan has been spotted on the streets of Liverpool with a Union Jack cushion ahead of their match against the Reds in the Champions League.An image of the supporter holding the soft furnishing emerged just before the match to plenty of mockery on social media.

The fan, who proudly displayed the cushion in one hand while raising his other arm aloft, was mocked in a tweet which said: "I’m taking the cushion down to Liverpool love.

Several more fans quote-tweeted the picture with a series of crying laughing emojis.Although the act of bringing a Union Jack cushion to a Champions League tie might be considered slightly odd, the British flag and loyalty to the monarch are closely associated with Rangers' identity.The Gers recently defied UEFA by playing the national anthem before their Champions League tie against Napoli as a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II after her death last month.
