Bake Off star films racist abuse on bus as 'people like him' blamed 'for bombings'

Great British Bake Off star Ali Imdad filmed a female passenger accused 'people like him' of 'all these bombings' as he was subjected to racist abuse while riding a National Express bus.

33-year-old Ali, from Alum Rock, Birmingham, was travelling on the West Midlands service from the City Centre on Saturday 20 December at 6.15pm when the incident happened.

Sharing clips from his journey to Twitter, Ali said he was called a terrorist before the driver asked him to leave the bus miles before his stop - which 'made him feel like a criminal.' "Not only was I called a bomber and accused of ruining the country for being Asian, when I challenged the Karen, the driver threatened to throw ME off the National Express West Midlands bus.
