BAKE OFF viewers were left in tears after the show last night paid tribute to a crew member who tragically died. The hit baking series returned to Channel 4 on Tuesday despite concerns it may have been postponed due to the Queen's death.
Viewers saw judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith return to the iconic tent alongside presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding.
They were also introduced to 12 new bakers who will compete each week to win the show. The episode began with cake week, and the brand new batch of bakers tackled mini cakes, a striking sponge and a scaled-down version of a home close to their hearts.
