dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire nursery has taken a virtual trip around Europe – clocking up thousands of miles for vulnerable children.Fly High Early Learning and Childcare in Monkton put their best foot forward for charity Children 1st whilst boosting their own wellbeing.Staff and children have trekked an incredible 2,659 kilometres – walking every day throughout February.The nursery, which has been open throughout the coronavirus pandemic supporting children of key workers, wanted to do something positive to mark Children’s Mental Health Week early last month.Setting off to walk the distance between Prestwick and the French capital Paris, the team – with the help of little ones – powered through the initial 10 days, reaching 993km.The Ayrshire Live app is.
