Ayrshire dogging capital unveiled as cases across Scotland surge after lockdown

Sunday Mail reports today that there has been a spike in incidents since lockdown restrictions eased. The number of cases recorded by Police Scotland rose from 29 in 2018 to 31 in 2019 but dropped to 28 last year.Cases have risen since coronavirus restrictions were lifted, with nine in the past three months.

Although there is no specific offence of ­dogging, people can be charged with having sex in a public place, lewd behaviour or indecency.
