Ayr explosion: Two adults and two children in hospital as four homes affected by blast

Two adults and two children have been taken to hospital after four Scots homes were damaged by a huge explosion. Multiple police cars, ambulances and fire crews rushed to the scene at Gorse Park in Kincaidston, Ayr around 7.10pm on Monday October 18.

Locals described the blast as sounding like a bomb, and it is believed it could be heard up to three miles away. The two adults and two children have been taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock for treatment.
