Now Villa are preparing to spend again to bolster Dean Smith's squad to climb the table. Targets include £22m-rated Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica who was left out of their friendly with Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday.
The Kosovo international has been capped 27 times by his country and scored eight goals and registered five assists in the Bundesliga in 2019-20.
