Ashley James welcomed her first child, Alfie Rivers, with her boyfriend Tom Andrews in January. And since giving birth, the DJ and reality TV personality, 33, has been candid in showing off her journey as a first-time mum on her Instagram page.

She has proudly been posting selfies in which she can be seen breastfeeding her little tot - which has led to trolls criticising her choice to be open about nursing her newborn with breast milk.

Ashley has defiantly stood by her choice and told that the shame and stigma of breastfeeding in England needs to end during an appearance on Channel 5's Jeremy Vine chat show on Tuesday.
