Meghan Markle claims she tried to set her up with ex-professional footballer Ashley Cole.It has often be widely reported that it was the former Chelsea player that was keen to date the Duchess of Sussex, but radio presenter Lizzie Cundy says that was not the case.Meghan and Lizzie met in 2013 when they were attending a party for a charity event in London and immediately clicked.According to Lizzie, Meghan revealed she was on the look out for an "English boyfriend" while over in the UK from the states.The ex-model alleges that when she approached Ashley Cole to see if he was interested in a date with Meghan he "wasn't keen" so it went no further.Speaking with Grazia magazine she said: "Meghan said she loved London, and would love an English.
