mirror.co.ukAshley Cain opened up about how ‘grateful’ he feels getting to spend another day with his poorly daughter Azaylia. The eight-month-old has been battling a rare and aggressive form of leukaemia for six months.
Last month, Ashley and his partner Safiyya Vorajee took Azaylia home after doctors told them her leukaemia could no longer be treated.
The 30-year-old took to his Instagram Stories to share the tender moment of him cuddling with the little tot. “Grateful for another morning with you,” the footballer wrote along with a heart emoji.
In the short clip, Azaylia was fast asleep in her Lion King pyjamas while Ashley cuddled up with her in bed and kissed her cheek.
