ASHLEY Banjo will help struggling families amid the cost of living crisis this Christmas. The Dancing on Ice judge, 34, will play a key role in delivering tens of thousands of pounds worth of gifts to shoppers at Lakeside Shopping Centre.

He's fronting a campaign called The Christmas Fairy Tale of Hope and Happiness and appears in a short video that will be broadcast inside the shopping centre.

Dad-of-two Ashley reads out a fairytale about the true meaning of Christmas and the spirit of giving in a time of adversity and uncertainty before a "real-life fairy" magically appears in front of shoppers.

Lilibet - given the late Queen Elizabeth's nickname in a special tribute - will then hand out gifts From a Nando’s hamper to a LUSH pamper set, Vue Cinema tickets to Thérapie vouchers from now until Christmas Eve.
