Asda shopper mocked for the contents of his trolley after being caught stockpiling

For most shoppers, stocking up on essentials means buying things like toilet rolls, milk and pasta. But not everyone has the same idea about what's important to stock up on during the coronavirus pandemic - as was proven perfectly by one Asda visitor's shopping basket.

As reported by the Mirror, Brian and his wife Emma Rogers spotted the unusual purchase when they popped into an Asda just outside of Glasgow.

In the photo he was seen with an entire shopping trolley full of the Scottish soft drink Irn-Bru. According to Brian, other people called the man out as he walked around the store.

He told Mirror Online: "People were all staring at him and saying 'dont Nick all of the Irn-Bru'. "He looked very defensive.
