child killers will die behind bars, Boris Johnson has vowed.The Prime Minister says tougher jail terms will be brought in for anyone who commits the evil crimes.He told The Sun: “Anyone who plans then carries out the murder of a child should never be released from prison.“So we’re toughening the law to make whole-life orders the starting point for such abhorrent crimes.”The PM is also bringing forward a rapid review on toughening up the 'lenient' sentences handed to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes' killer dad and stepmum.
Emma Tustin was jailed for life for murder where she will have to serve a minimum of 29 years, and dad Thomas Hughes was also given a life term but could be out after only 21 years for manslaughter.
