Arsenal teenager Karl Hein suffered a major gaffe for Estonia to give opponents North Macedonia the lead with an own goal two minutes into the game.

The goalkeeper, who has been with the Gunners academy since 2018, was making his second appearance for his country. Having played the ball out, defender Marten Kuusk had it in possession and assessed the options in front.

But the 24-year-old decided it was best to play back to his goalkeeper – who was not expecting it back so quickly. The centre-back’s pass was aimed at the bottom-left corner of his own goal, with the Gunners shot-stopper position himself fat right.
