Arsenal technical director Edu is looking to add two more signings to Mike Arteta's squad after finally securing a deal for Willian.
The 32-year-old was a free agent after leaving Chelsea, having spent seven years at Stamford Bridge. Willian had rejected the offer of a two-year extension with the Blues, paving the way for him to join their London rivals for three years on Friday.
And now, according to the Daily Star, the Gunners will step up their efforts to sign Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey, as well as a new defender.
The north Londoners want Ghana midfielder Partey but will not pay his £45m release clause, and are attempting to bring the price down.
