Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares made a magnificent first impression for Marseille as he aims to follow in the footsteps of William Saliba.Saliba earned rave reviews on loan at the Stade Velodrome last season, winning the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season award.
The 21-year-old returned to the Emirates in the summer and now looks set to establish himself as one of Mikel Arteta's first-choice defenders after impressing on his Gunners debut against Crystal Palace.Unlike Saliba, Tavares has already made his Arsenal bow.

Tavares played the full 90 minutes as Marseille eased past Reims 4-1 in their Ligue 1 opener, even finding time to get his name on the scoresheet.
