Barcelona are lining up a move for Hector Bellerin - and Arsenal are eyeing Brighton's Tariq Lamptey as a potential replacement.
Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta, who is favourite to win next month’s election, wants Bellerin, who began his youth career at the Nou Camp before moving to Arsenal.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta persuaded Bellerin to stay amid interest from Paris Saint Germain in the last transfer window and will be anxious not to lose him in January or next summer.
But Arsenal have been keeping close tabs on England under-21 starlet Lamptey who has been a revelation at Brighton this season and has quickly become one of the most sought after young players in the Premier League.
