Arsenal bosses have been left furious after it was confirmed Kieran Tierney must self-isolate for 14 days. The Gunners were hoping for some leniency after the full-back was ordered to isolate after Scotland teammate Stuart Armstrong tested positive for coronavirus.
There were hopes that Scotland health chiefs could give Tierney special dspensation after he tested negative. They had planned to bring Tierney back to London in a private car, but those hopes have seemingly been dashed.
Jason Leitch, who serves as National Clinical Director to the Scottish Government, has confirmed that Tierney will need to follow the guidance in full. “I cannot intervene.
