Newcastle have reportedly registered an interest in Alvaro Morata amid speculation that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen.With Callum Wilson being so injury-prone, it’s no secret that a striker is one of the priority positions for the Magpies.
Italian outlet Calciomercato have said that the Magpies are wanting to bolster their forward line by bringing Morata to St James’ Park.
At present, the Spaniard is on the way back to Atletico Madrid after a two-year loan spell at Juventus. But his future is uncertain at the Wanda Metropolitano, with Arsenal thought to be keen on his services, according to Mundo Deportivo.The Old Lady are hopeful of making his loan stay permanent as well but they are not willing to pay Atletico's £30million asking price, with £17million already spent on his loan.It is also believed that Tottenham are looking at weighing up a deal for the former Chelsea striker, whose future remains unclear.Morata had been a regular for Juventus over the past two seasons.
Last campaign he found the back of the net on 12 occasions in all competitions - and in the campaign before that, it was 20 goals.
