The 21-year-old has been impressive for Forest in the FA Cup, starring as they stunned both Leicester and Arsenal on their way to the quarter-finals.And his goal against QPR on Wednesday sent them on their way to a vital 3-1 victory, with Forest just shy of a play-off spot, alongside Spence's parent club Middlesbrough.Spence has quickly become a hugely popular figure at Forest, and it's unlikely that they will want to part company with their breakthrough star at the end of the season.
But Middlesbrough hold the power, and he may be Premier League-bound even if his parent club don't secure promotion this season.With Forest trailing 1-0, the ball came to Spence on the edge of the penalty area, and the defender finished like any accomplished striker.
Spence whipped his effort past David Marshall and into the QPR net, and then Forest went on to add two late goals and pick up all three points.Forest will be stepping away from Championship action this weekend as they face Liverpool on Sunday in the FA Cup quarter-final, and they'll be full-on confidence after already beating Premier League opposition.
