A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a fight involving two dogs - which left one of them dead. Police were called to Horne Grove and Cornwallis Road, Wigan, on Sunday (May 2) at around 3pm after reports of a man carrying a knife outside a home in Horne Grove.
Officers found the man with the knife was 'acting aggressively' following an incident earlier that day - which saw two dogs fighting on Cornwallis Road, with one of the dogs dying in the process.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has since been bailed. A police spokesman said: "At around 3pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021, police were called with a report of a man carrying a knife outside a property on Horne Grove, Wigan. "Officers attended and initial enquiries
