Appeal for witnesses after passenger sustains serious head injury in Lanarkshire van crash

A man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury after a crash on Sunday morning in North Lanarkshire.Road Policing officers are seeking witnesses to the incident which happened at around 9.20am on December 4 in Newmains, Wishaw.A white Ford Transit van collided with an unoccupied blue Ford Transit flatbed van on Alcath Road near to Bonkle Road.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

His condition is described as stable - the driver was uninjured.The road was closed while crash investigations were carried out and re-opened around 12.30pm.Sgt.
