Anton du Beke and Jacqui Smith were the first couple to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing 2020 on Saturday. And the professional dancer, 54, has shared that he thinks MP Jacqui, 58, would have had a better chance of remaining on the BBC dancing show if she was not taking part in the condensed version.
This year the number of contestants taking part has been reduced from 15 to 12 in order for the final to take its usual slot a week before Christmas amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Appearing on a Facebook Live with The Mirror, the mover and shaker admitted that he thinks that he and Jacqui could have progressed throughout the competition if there were more competitors.
