Antiques Roadshow guest was stunned to learn of the whopping value of his dad's set of rare SAS medals.The man brought along several personal items and a piece of parachute that his dad David Cargill had used during his missions in 1944 to the BBC One show at V&A Dundee, Scotland.In the episode, which was first shown in September 2019 but repeated on Sunday (June 13), military specialist Mark Smith took a look at the collection and admitted that it was his first time to see some of the "hard to find" items.He said: "So he's in the Territory Army.
He went to France and he starts off his war by coming off a beach, somewhere called Dunkirk because he has the Dunkirk medal as well."The guest then explained his dad later joined the Parachute.
