Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

AN ANTIQUES Roadshow expert stunned a guest with the heart-wrenching truth behind a doll picked up for £18. In a classic episode of the BBC show, expert Nicholas Mitchell met a lady who had bought a wooden doll at a fair.

He started by saying: "This is probably one of the earliest items I have seen here today. "And interesting as it's one that brings history and absolutely bang in your face.

It is so immediate and interesting. He then asked the woman what she thought the item was and she said: "I think it was made as a doll in the 17th century possibly." He replied: "I think you're right, and I think what makes it so emotively important as this was almost certainly carved by an older man possibly." He then said he thought it was made in the late 16th Century and added: "A member of a simple farming family way out in the country. "Occasionally he would come into Winchester to see the fashionable walking around the street. @font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:400;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:500;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.woff2').
