Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United could be without Anthony Martial for their crucial encounter against PSG. The Red Devils welcome the French champions on Wednesday knowing that a point will be enough to secure progression into the knock-out stages of the Champions League for the third time in four seasons.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer oversaw an impressive 2-1 victory in Paris in their first meeting, during which Martial scored an own goal before Marcus Rashford netted a winner.
The France international was absent for the win over Southampton on Sunday having taken ill overnight, and his status on Monday doesn’t look at all promising.MEN report that Martial left the training ground on Monday morning after only 11 minutes.
