Rangers' Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee was temporarily halted due to protests from the Rangers fans.The Gers fans were protesting a pre-season friendly against fierce rivals Celtic that has been scheduled for Australia on 20 November.

Rangers' decision to join the Sydney Super Cup has drawn the fury of the fans, and chants of "stick your friendly up your a***" were heard.Hundreds of tennis balls were launched onto the pitch - causing the referee to stop the game as stewards rushed to collect the balls.

Toilet roll was also thrown onto the pitch before kick-off during the protests.The four-team tournament in Australia, ahead of the Qatar World Cup, will feature: Celtic, Rangers, Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.Celtic are fully expecting the tournament to go ahead with their boss Ange Postecoglou already having managed in the A-League and for the Australian national side.
