Angelina Jolie, who has yet to finalize her ongoing divorce from Brad Pitt, believes her family drama has gotten in the way of her career aspirations. "I love directing, but I had a change in my family situation that’s not made it possible for me to direct for a few years," Jolie, 45, recently told Entertainment Weekly.
The "Maleficent" actress said there just hasn’t been enough time to commit to her dream of directing.Therefore, the mother of six has continued to take acting jobs to keep up with the demands of both Hollywood and family life. "I needed to just do shorter jobs and be home more, so I kind of went back to doing a few acting jobs.That’s really the truth of it," she said.
