Ander Herrera has revealed he gave Edinson Cavani some advice before the striker sealed a deadline day move to Manchester United.
United made a surprise move for Cavani late in the transfer window, signing the striker on a one-year deal with the option of a second after he left Paris-Saint Germain in the summer.
Last year midfielder Herrera made the move in the opposite direction, leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side to join PSG after his Old Trafford contract expired.
Herrera spent five years with United - a team he described as "unique" when Cavani asked him for advice about joining the Premier League side.
