Star Trek: Lower Decks, the animated comedy series from 'Rick and Morty' veteran Mike McMahon, has been picked up by Amazon Prime Video for a number of international territories, including the U.K.
and Europe, plus Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India. All 10 episodes of the first season —featuring the voices of Jack Quaid and Tawny Newsome, alongside with cameos from Star Trek actors Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis —will launch January 22 on Prime Video.
The show airs on CBS All Access in the U.S. and is distributed worldwide by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group Developed by Emmy Award winner McMahan, Star Trek: Lower Decks focuses on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S.
