Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she battled COVID-19 several months ago. During her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (October 26), the 35-year-old actress shared that she was suffering from “a tough case of COVID” when she found out she’d been nominated for at the 2021 Oscars for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Mank. Click inside to read more… While recalling her battle with the virus, Amanda said she chose not to publicly reveal her diagnosis because she “didn’t want that to take over because clickbait and stuff like that.” The nominations for the 2021 Oscars were announced back on March 15.
Ironically, Amanda revealed that she had received her COVID vaccination shot just two days before she got sick.
