Amanda Owen 'excited' as she lands new project away from Our Yorkshire Farm

Amanda Owen, the star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has announced a new solo project away from her popular Channel 5 show.The 47-year-old shepherdess will be heading to Henham Park for this year's Latitude Festival, where she will appear as a chef at a brand new restaurant, The Guest Chef.She is joining other big names such as Gary Lineker, Judi Love and Georgina Hayden.Amanda will be presenting a tasty menu created in her own style to be served at the restaurant and will speak about buying good, seasonal ingredients and reveal her family recipes.In a statement made about the new project, the mother-of-nine said: "I am excited to have been asked to design one of the first ever Guest Chef menus at Latitude Festival this year."When I’m cooking for the family at home I like to make the most of the wonderful seasonal ingredients that are readily available in the shops and won’t break the bank."Where our food comes from is equally important to me, so I’m excited that the meat element of my menu will be lamb, born and reared at Ravenseat."I hope to create the perfect summer roast to go with what will be a great weekend of music and culture."The festival kicks off on July 21 and runs until July 24.From the Thursday until the Sunday, each celebrity will be taking to the restaurant to talk about the thoughts behind their creations.Festival attendees can expect 80 of the greatest street food traders, creating the freshest festival food line-up.Amanda rose to fame on her series Our Yorkshire Farm which follows her and her family as they go about their daily life on Ravenseat farm.She has previously appeared as a guest cook on the ITV talk show This Morning and is very vocal about her passion for cooking.The news of Amanda's latest project.
