Almost 400 registered sex offenders are living in Ayrshire communities
dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire communities, new police figures have shown.The updated figures come from official Police Scotland data which covers the force’s Ayrshire patch, known as U Division.The figures were collated for the month ending March 31.According to the figures, 47 RSOs currently reside in the KA1 postcode which covers Kilmarnock, while 12 currently live within the Troon KA10 postcode area.The data also shows that 23 registered sex offenders reside within the KA12 postcode for Irvine.For the Ayr postcodes of KA7 and KA8, there are 65 sex offenders living in the local community, while the PA3 postcode which covers the likes of Kilmarnock, Stewarton and Lugton, there are 39.The KA19 postcode, which includes areas such as Maybole, Minishant, Crosshill.
