According to the UK government, over half a million citizens have already been given the first Covid-19 vaccine in this country.
Although the country has been plunged into further disarray with the latest lockdown measures, some 500,000 elderly and healthcare workers have been given the first round of the Pfizer/BioNTech jab so far.
It comes just two weeks after grandmother Margaret Keenan became the first person in the world to receive the vaccine on December 8.
The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has a 95% efficiency and requires two jabs three weeks apart, after which patients will be fully protected around one week later.
