Alex Harvill was a motorcycle stunt performer and daredevil who held a Guinness World Record.In 2013, Harvill set the Guinness World Record for the longest dirt-to-dirt motorcycle ramp jump, at a distance of 297.5 feet.

He was planning to attempt to break the ramp-to-dirt motorcycle jump record of 351 feet at the Moses Lake Airshow on June 17.

In the following days, he hoped to break an airplane jump record. Harvill’s dream was to jump approximately 500 feet across the Snake River.

He is survived by his wife and two children.“When I was 10 years old, I was run over by a car that broke my pelvis. After that I knew that not much could be worse than what I experienced.
