Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic signing in waiting Albian Ajeti has told the emotional story of his family's departure from war-stricken Kosovo to Switzerland.

The Hoops will seal the £5million deal to take the striker to Paradise on a four-year contract today after Neil Lennon 's personal intervention proved decisive.

And Ajeti, 23, revealed the sacrifices his family had to make as they got caught up in war in the Balkans, where an estimated 140,000 people lost their lives and his gratitude to first club Basle.Ajeti said: "My family had to move to Switzerland, before the Kosovo War and there I went to school, to the Basle Academy and started my football."It was because it was not possible to live in Kosovo any more.
