The Englishman was a fan favourite as a Parkhead player and went on to act as first team coach under Lennon. All eyes were on the Irishman as he and McCoist furiously clashed on the touchline at Parkhead in 2011, with the fallout so dramatic the Scottish Government held a summit to discuss it.
The Celtic manager and Rangers assistant shook hands and made up after the match, in what was a contentious season. The arrival of Diouf caught the attention in particular, with Scott Brown's famous 'Broony' celebration invented as a way to wind up the Senegalese.
