AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan reunite to host The Big Breakfast's return this summer

AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan. The cult hit, which was an alternative to more mainstream morning shows, originally aired from 1992 to 2002, presented by familiar faces including Chris Evans, Gaby Roslin, Zoe Ball, Johnny Vaughan, Denise Van Outen and Kelly Brook.

It was resurrected as a one-off special for Channel 4’s Black to Front day last September, which saw the broadcaster air shows fronted by black stars and featuring black contributors.The project was part of Channel 4’s commitment to represent and champion under-represented audiences and communities.Now the show will make a comeback for four weeks in August and AJ and Mo, both 34, have been confirmed as the faces of the show.Mo, who recently won a BAFTA for Comedy Entertainment Programme for The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, said: "I love being part of this incredible history making show.""The whole team are so spectacular, and I have so much fun working with AJ - she’s one of the best in the business.
