Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace got emotional when talking about her late pal and co-star Nikki Grahame one year on from her death.
The reality star turned glamour model chatted exclusively to the Daily Star on a Facebook Live tell-all.When talking about Nikki, who died aged 38 in April 2021 after becoming increasingly ill when suffering from a severe eating disorder, Aisleyne teared up.The star said: "I've got goosebumps literally, if you could get a close up you would see.
I just love her and we did a FaceTime with each other and it was just before she passed and she was obviously, visibly, extremely ill and it's just heart-wrenching."I've lost quite a few people that I love and you can't help them, you know, and that's the really hard part about it you wanna help and you can't."I just hope I see her again one day, ah I think I'm gonna cry," she said while wiping a tear away on camera.Nikki's heartbroken friend continued: "The only comfort I take from losing friends through addiction or through how Nikki passed is that they are out of their pain and I like to believe they are in a better place and there is no more pain, turmoil and fight."Aisleyne, 43, was chatting with showbiz reporter Carly Hacon on the chat show who mentioned the other major losses in her life such as Sarah Harding, Mick Norcross, Amy Winehouse, among other friends and family she has lost over the year.She continued: "I lost my mum, my first love, there's been so much loss in my life.
I lost my mum, we were estranged and our relationship never got back together and I thought I would die myself at one point from a broken heart."But all you can do is try and live on for them and try not to take life too seriously and just realise we are here.
