Airdrie and Shotts Labour party has announced the first of its candidates for May’s local government elections. North Lanarkshire Council leader Jim Logue will again be standing in Airdrie Central, and will be joined on the ballot paper for the ward by 22-year-old party colleague Chris Costello.
The ward returns four councillors and is currently represented by SNP duo David Stocks and Nancy Pettigrew and Trevor Douglas of the Conservatives alongside Councillor Logue.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
