Adnaj Januzaj remains the star that might have been for Manchester United. Having progressed through the famed Old Trafford academy, the fleet-footed Belgian played 65 times for the club, before embarking on a new adventure with Real Sociedad in Spain.
That move came four seasons ago now. Before then, the 26-year-old burst on to the Premier League scene with plenty of promise, but he ultimately came unstuck while Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho were at the United helm.
Sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland when van Gaal was in charge, it was Mourinho who sanctioned Januzaj's £7.65million permanent switch to La Liga in 2017.
