Adele Roberts finishes chemo and says 'fingers crossed' scan shows she's 'cancer free'

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star - who announced in October that she had been diagnosed with bowel cancer - has finished chemotherapy and will have a scan in six weeks.

Talking about her treatment during an appearance on Loose Women, she said: "It felt like it was never going to end and every cycle I had it built and built and got sorer and sorer, but we're there now."We've done it.

I'm so excited.""In six weeks I'll have a scan, and then hopefully I'm cancer free," she went on."So that's when I'll get the final OK, hopefully.

Fingers crossed."The radio presenter, 43, also talked about how fond she has become of her stoma, which she has named Audrey after the character from Little Shop Of Horrors.Asked whether it was for life, she told the panellists: "It will be reversible eventually."Do you know, you saying that makes me feel emotional because she's got me through so much and she's helped save my life and I will be sad when she goes away."Adele has been keeping her fans on social media updated about what she's going through and this week opened up about how treatment has "ravaged" her skin.The former Big Brother housemate shared close-ups on Instagram as she told her followers that chemo left her with "holes" all over her face.She said: "I'm very lucky to be on this treatment but it's ravaged my skin a lot.
